“
I found my way to the world of sfoglia through 15 years of cooking professionally. In restaurants, wineries and private homes across Napa, Maine, Washington, Sonoma, and Idaho. While my DNA might not carry any Italian heritage, a big part of my heart has always belonged to Italy.
I fell in love with Bologna in 2015 and have felt a pull back ever since. Pasta has played a large role throughout my career, first looking into the professional program back in 2018—but it took a few more years, 7 to be exact, to finally take the leap. And I’m so glad I did—10 out of 10 would recommend! Getting to escape to Bologna and learn from such passionate, masterful teachers like Maestra and Stefania was unforgettable. I’m incredibly grateful for the amazing crew at VSB: Bert (the Renaissance man), Liz, Mary, Andreo, and Maria.
Looking ahead, I’m excited to create a space in Vermont—offering fresh pasta, panettone (my other Italian love), and classes—letting that space evolve and grow naturally with the community. I’m honored to join the worldwide family of sfoglini and look forward to being part of this ever-growing community.
